MICKEYS NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY

The same day we hit up Magic Kingdom, we also had tickets for Mickeys not so Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) – a separate ticketed event which takes place after hours at the Magic Kingdom

After we went back to freshen up and change (I had to add my Halloween ears from my previous trip!) We headed back for some spooky fun. The whole park is transformed, with spooky lights, ghouls floating across the main street buildings, and your favourite Halloween music playing. There’s even a ghost host to welcome you when the party officially starts

Being a ticketed event which you have to pay extra for you’ll find crowds are a little lower than normal, and the earlier in Halloween season you go the quieter the parties are. We went 29th October so pretty much Halloween, it was busy but still better than normal park crowds

You get to meet special characters (Elvis Stitch has been a bucket list character for me for ages), and you do find lines can be long for the rare characters such as Jack and Sally. Stitch was around 30 minutes queue but to me that’s worth it and part of why I enjoy these events

There is also a special fireworks display and parade – Mickeys Boo to You parade which is spectacular and full of your favourite characters and villains in their Halloween best!

Admittedly this was a super long day for us, and I think we were a little jet lagged still. However we managed to hop on a good number of rides as again the crowds are lower, and there’s a big demand for entertainment and characters, you can get on fan favourites relatively easily

You can also go trick or treating around the parks, following candy trails all around the parks. An excellent touch from Disney and really good fun for adults and kids alike

After a very very long day, we headed back to the hotel and checked out our candy haul before heading to bed ready for our next day at Epcot!
