OUTLETS & DISNEY SPRINGS
We decided after all our escapades the last few days we’d have a chill day and check out the outlet mall, then Disney Springs
We started with breakfast at the hotel (using quick service credits) and then used the Lyft app to order a taxi up to the mall. We went to the Vinelands outlet mall, and headed straight to the Disney Store there. I knew from last time plus watching vlogs, there can be some fabulous deals found in this store! We did have a queue to get in but it’s worth it… I came away with a few pins, purse, and a spirit jersey!
We then headed to a few other shops including Levis, Swarovski, Kate Spade, Under Armour and Micheal Kors where I managed to snag a beautiful work bag with a ridiculous discount!

When we’d had our fill of outlets we headed back to the hotel to drop our stuff off, then out to Disney Springs via the internal transport bus. We had a reservation at The Eddison around 7pm giving us a few hours to wander and explore.
Naturally our first stop was The World of Disney store, found by the lake near the Uniqulo and Lego shops. For a Disney fan this shop is a must do, and is a treasure trove of merchandise. You can find everything here you could ever want, with specific sections for homeware, jewellery, kids, and seasonal, as well as certain areas you can find Star Wars, Marvel and even Princess merchandise.

Without spending a fortune, we made our way around thr shop eyeing up things we may want (for me I had my eye on the Christmas ears and spirit jerseys ready for the Christmas parties we had to come).
Eventually we made our way over to The Eddison to check in for dinner. We were a little early, however they were very good and seated us quickly. The restaurant has a 1920’s prohibition feel to it, a very cool vibe, and we even had some lounge singers on later into our meal.

Again we were using the Disney Dining Plan, so for a credit each we got a main meal, dessert and an alcoholic or soft drink. Naturally I opted for a cocktail, I ordered The Eddison Burger then my dessert (which upon checking is no longer on the menu)

Overall the meal was great – I will be doing a review in the dining section so won’t go into a huge amount of detail here. We were seated quickly despite being early, the food came quickly and was delicious, and we had some fabulous entertainment later on in the meal as well. Fabulous experience.
We had a nice chill day! With a bit of a lie in, which we all felt was needed after a few early morning and late nights. I do feel this is needed in a Disney holiday as it can get very tiring in the heat. However we’re back at it the next day – so join me for our day in Animal Kingdom next week
Xx
