Life with Mrs C

Day 9 we docked in St John’s on the island of Antigua. This also happened to be our 6 month wedding anniversary so we wanted to make this a super special day!!

We had a mooch through the port area which was probably the biggest yet with all the shops, restaurants and bars available. Another good spot for WiFi as well, and we actually managed to be spotted on their webcam by Mr C’s family back home!

We found a lovely little cafe where we decided to have some breakfast for a change instead of on the ship – we did budget for some light snacky meals off the ship incase. We got 1 hour free WiFi which was a nice chance to check in again, and we both had an iced caramel coffee frappe and pancakes…. We could have shared the pancakes! So maybe check the serving sizes…

Back on the ship we had a chilled afternoon out of the sun in the coffee port and the atrium, we both had a book we grabbed and got the iced coffee shakes and can (why not when on PI)

We eventually headed back to our room to shower and change before heading back out for a drink at Bar Eleven before going to our reservation at Surf & Turf for our anniversary.

Oh Lordy the food was amazing! Included in the price was got a bread platter with butters and salts, then we had a main sharer or a main each, with sides and then the dessert.

After this we went to our usual spot in the Live Lounge for more live music, before calling it a night and heading back to our room.
