Hello, Gemma’s readers! I’m Elysia, but everyone calls me Ellie and I’m thrilled to introduce myself to you all. I’m 32 years old and hail from the North West of England. My lifelong love for all things Disney began in my early years, and it’s a passion that has only grown over time.

My Disney journey began when I first visited Disneyland Paris at the tender age of 3. The magic of that place was overwhelming; so much so that I spotted Pluto and dashed straight into his arms! From that moment on, I was hooked on Disney parks.

By the time I was 6, I experienced the wonders of Disney World for the first time, and the enchantment of its four unique theme parks made me fall even deeper in love. The rides, shows, parades, characters, and food were all so captivating that I never wanted to leave. My parents further indulged my Disney obsession with frequent trips, and I’ve now visited Disney World 11 times, Disneyland California twice and Disneyland Paris 10 times. My ultimate dream is to visit all the Disney parks around the world and embark on a Disney Cruise with my fiancé. (I actually got engaged at Disneyland. Details of that magical moment are over on my blog!)

My favourite Disney movies include Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, and Enchanted. However, I also have a soft spot for underrated classics like The Great Mouse Detective, Pocahontas, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. My Disney fandom goes beyond just enjoying the movies and parks. I’m a true Disney nerd, and proud to say so! I have a full bookshelf brimming with Disney fact books and am always eager to learn more. In fact, when I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour in 2019, I answered so many questions correctly, that the tour guide thought I had done the tour before! I’ve also won several Disney pub quizzes, and will tell you Disney trivia at the drop of a hat!

When I’m not immersed in the magic of Disney, I love travelling, exploring new foods, and enjoying movies. I run several TikTok channels, with my main one being @Elysia.Official, where I’m currently at 377,000 followers. (Yes, that’s a cheeky plug!) I also cherish weekends spent with my fiancé and best friends, doing the most random and fun things. One week we’ll be playing virtual cricket and then next we’ll be at a saloon drinking cocktails!

I’m excited to announce that Gemma and I will be collaborating on blog posts bi-weekly, alternating between her blog and mine.
