Review – Be Our Guest breakfast

If you are after an alternative to the quick service bun fight, or a change to your usual hotel breakfast offerings, this is a brilliant option – even more so for Beauty and the Beast fans.

You have the options of dining in the West Wing, ballroom or the library. I have yet to dine in the West Wing as it is usually quite busy and also quite dark, but you are free to wander in for a glimpse of the enchanted rose.

Enchanted rose

Where is it?

Located at the back of the Magic Kingdom Park, you can find this in the New Fantasyland area behind the carousel. The best route if you can is directly through the Castle, round the carousel and keep going. As you approach you feel as though you are approaching Beasts Castle, which can be seen in the distance above the mountains.

What’s the menu?

For breakfast you have multiple options which you can pre order before arriving, all typical breakfast foods. Thr last time I went I ordered Feast a la Gaston – bacon, sausage, eggs, breakfast potatoes and a bowl of fruit on the side. You can get smaller options as well and you also get a plate of pastries for the table with croissants, muffins and cinnamon swirls.

Do you need a reservation?

Ideally I’d say yes. This is a very sought after dining option, especially a breakfast as you can gain early access to the park by having an ADR. If you book early enough and get into the park you can get some elusive ’empty park shots of Main Street USA and the castle. That’s not to say you can’t walk up and wait for a spot, however for ease, and if you know you want to dine there I would always suggest booking ahead of time.

What’s the price like?

Typically for breakfast it has always been a set price around $25 a head. This gets you your meal, side of pastries and a drink. However it is worth noting if you are on the Disney Dining Plan it will only cost you a quick service credit.

Final thoughts

I have eaten here 3 times now – twice for breakfast and once for an evening meal. All 3 times were excellent. I love the whole atmosphere of the restaurant, the three different room options you can dine in – the library, West Wing (with the enchanted rose!), and the ballroom which is just stunning.

Ballroom

The service is impeccable and I have never waited to be seated or for food to arrive. The food has always been fabulous, and the portions have been bang on, not too much and not too little.

Rating – 10/10 for me

  1. I love this place for lunch! The dinner wasn’t what I was expecting, sadly. I haven’t gone for breakfast yet.

I did dinner before it swapped to the set menu and it was nice from memory. Breakfast is fab! It’s a nice way to experience the restaurant without having to dedicate a proper sit down meal to it
