UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Carrying on with the trip reports, the next day was a second trip to Universal Studios. We purposely put a second day in towards the back end in the hopes the Christmas decorations might be up, and they don’t disappoint!

Again we used quick service credits to get our breakfast at the hotel before ordering an Uber taxi for the drive down. We wanted to have a good wander around the Wizarding World again, and try and get on the things we didn’t do last time.

We started the other way around this time going to Islands of Adventure first. I did the single rider line for The Incredible Hulk Coaster before my brother made sure to hop on Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw Falls, to get well and truly drenched, before we both hipped on the Kong ride followed by Jurrassic Park again.

After this we got to Hogsmede and got onto Forbidden Journey. We also wandered around taking in all the bits we missed before and checking out all the Christmas decorations. Each shop around the village is decorated to match what it sells, nd the whole effects is simply stunning. We headed onto the train here to head across to Diagon Alley to see the trip the other way – a must do if you ask me as both trips are different. Down in Diagon Alley we made it onto Escape from Gringotts which is fantastic!

We worked our way back around the park to more rides we wanted to hop on and some we wanted to ride again – mainly The Mummy, ET and The Men in Black rides. Once we decided we were done we had a very good wander around City Walk before heading back to the hotel. From here we decided to head to Disney Springs for some tea. Alot of places were busy and we didn’t have a reservation for anywhere so decided to try D-luxe Burgers – and we were not disappointed! We paid out of pocket for these to conserve quick service and snack credits for the remaining days in the Disney Parks.

After another very long day and with a couple more coming we had an early night (early for a Disney vacation anyway!) Join me next time for a day at Epcot and a very very wet Christmas party!
