Hello, fellow travellers! As I prepare for my upcoming adventure to Paris and Disneyland, I wanted to share my packing process with you. Packing can be overwhelming, but with a bit of planning, it can be a breeze. Join me as I organize my essentials and share tips to make packing for your next trip easier and more efficient!
1. Destination Overview
Before we dive into the packing details, let’s talk about the destination:
- Location: 1 day in Paris city & 2 at Disneyland Paris
- Climate/Weather: As we are travelling in September its starting to get a little cooler – we are looking around 19 degrees dropping to around 13 degrees in the evening with some cloud and potential rain (typical European autumn weather)
- Activities: A lot of walking the whole trip, comfort but cute styles for the parks
2. Packing List
Here’s a look at what I’m bringing on this trip. For clothing options I tend to hop into Canva and do some outfit options to help me narrow down the wardrobe and focus my packing rather than having a mental fit when I try and work it out.
I’ll break it down by category for easy reference:
Clothing:
- 2 pairs of trainers – comfortable for lots of walking!
- 1 pair of jeans – in case the weather drops
- 2 dresses for Disneyland – again cute but comfy
- 2 pairs of shorts for under the dresses
- Denim waistcoat
- 3 tops – for jeans in case of cooler weather
- 2 cardigans – cooler wear options

Toiletries:
- Sunscreen – I burn easily so always take some with me. Check out our Caribbean trip report for evidence
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Skincare essentials – I only travel with basic items
- Makeup
- Deodorant/ body spray/ perfume
- Any medication you need – I usually pack a mini first aid kit including painkillers, plasters, blister plasters and allergy tablets in case.
Tech & Gadgets:
- Smartphone + charger
- Camera/ video camera/ go pro
- Mini tripod/ gimble for filming/ photos
- Portable power bank + leads for both my phone and Mr C’s
- Travel adapters
- Charger for Apple Watch

Documents & Essentials:
- Passports
- Booking confirmations
- Park tickets/ booking in case phone fails
- Cash and credit cards
3. Packing Tips
Roll, Don’t Fold: Rolling clothes can save space and reduce wrinkles.
Use Packing Cubes: Packing cubes help organize items and maximize suitcase space.
Keep Essentials Accessible: Pack important items like travel documents and medications in an easily accessible part of your bag.
4. Final Checklist
Before you zip up your suitcase, here’s a quick checklist to ensure you haven’t forgotten anything:
- Check that you have all necessary travel documents & confirmations/ tickets
- Confirm that your tech gadgets are fully charged & chargers or spare batteries are packed as well – and don’t forget the adaptors for the country you are going to
- Review your itinerary and confirm bookings
That’s a wrap on my packing process for Paris & Disneyland! I hope you found these tips helpful and feel more confident about packing for your next adventure. If you have any questions or packing tips of your own, drop them in the comments below!
Happy travels folks!
xoxo
